As the title implies, this project was shot over four days of down time while on assignment in Dubai. Skyscrapers, exotic cars, malls and manmade islands are the first things you see while in Dubai. After some time there I began to see beneath all this artifice and wanted to focus on a different side of Dubai. I was interested in photographing the color-coded laborers enduring the brutal sun and the fringes of town rarely seen by tourist. This series documents the people responsible for building this extravagant and excessive playground for the rich.
